It’s summer, sunny and quite warm in Berlin. Which means that all – and there many – of Berlin’s bars have arranged at least 1-2 tables outside for their customers to enjoy the sun. And most people going out during the day, but not only, since there are always some blankets provided for later on when it gets chilly, will prefer a seat outside. This is an easier way to see who goes out without having to enter the place.
And one thing becomes clear: everyone is out, especially older people, which is lovely. I wish this would become more common in Romania. Maybe this will only happen once the living standard increases or the mentality changes in the “carpe diem” sense. Which means: take a break from the worries or at least from the cooking at home.
I am sure that such a change would change this image of a grey city with sad people. One can only dream away.
